FOBANA Talent Search 2010

Children bearing age 5 to 18 years of age are invited to Los Angeles talent search project by Fobana 2010. The specification for the participation would be as follows:

 

Dates:  Saturday 07/03 & Sunday 07/04 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 

Location:  Piazza Room, Pasadena Sheraton Hotel (Tel: 626 449 4000).

 

Registration Fees: $ 0

 

 

Registration Dead Line:

Up to June 30, 2010, 12:00 Mid-Night, and July 3 & July 4, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

 

Items of Performances:

1. Recitation (Bangla)

2. Rabindro Sangeet

3. Nazrul Sangeet

4. Folk Songs

5. Classical Music

6. Classical Dance

7. Semi-classical/Folk Dance (No Filmy Dance)

8. Instrumental Music: Sitar, Violin, Flute, Tabla

9. Free Hand Drawing

 

 Age Groups:

 5 - 8      Years of age (Group A)

 8+ -12   Years of age (Group B)

 12+ -15 Years of age (Group C)

 15+ -18 Years of age (Group D)

 

Participating children will be given certificates of participation in Fobana 2010, and outstanding performers will be specially recognized.

 

Judges:

Music, Dance, & Art Teachers from Bangladesh and India

Licensed Babysitters will be available adjacent to the main event room, $10.00/Per Baby under the age of 10 per day, $5.00/Per child(10+ age) for each day.
